Peripheral aims to present conflicted zones in a new light, attempting to make aware and humanize these places. Hoping to spark conversations that go beyond the foreground of conflict
and bring out the human nature of
these regions.
A research-driven project; each issue examines the conflict withinamines the country, ex external factors, frames everyday life; a humanizing function, and spotlights people.

Each series (a conflict region) has 3 issues (a
particular country or area). For this project, the first
series is on The Middle East and issue 1 focuses on
Lebanon. Expanding the series with other regions and
different forms of crises.





















— Issue 1 contains an interview conducted with Omar Badr. Omar who is from Lebanon and completed his education there contributed towards an more informed perspective, discussing representation, living in a conflicted place and personal views.
